The Minnesota Timberwolves are apparently ready to deal Kevin Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers but it seems the Cavs aren’t down with making a deal.
According to the latest report, Andrew Wiggins isn’t a part of the trade but the Cavs still are reluctant to pull the trigger on a deal despite the Wolves almost begging them to do so.
According to Gery Woelfel of The Journal Times, the Wolves are ready to pull the trigger on a Kevin Love trade but are being met with more resistance from the Cavaliers, this time over the inclusion of multiple future first round picks.
Told TWolves ready to pull trigger on sending Love to Cleve, but Cavs balking on future No. 1 picks. Seriously?

This is just baffling as it seems the Cavs are on the wrong side of the fine line between being careful you don’t get fleeced and being so overly cautious that it costs you a major asset like Love.
There might be more to this, but it seems almost like the Cavaliers are trying to have their cake and eat it too, which will end up seeing them lose out on Love and one of the most dynamic and unstoppable frontcourts ever.
