The Cleveland Cavaliers are dragging their feet when it comes to acquiring Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves but they had better figure something out fast otherwise they could lose out on him for good.

According to Gerry Wolfel from the Racince Journal Times, should the Cavaliers continue to balk at trade talks with the Wolves and continue to pull assets in and out, the Chicago Bulls could swoop in and offer Nikola Mirotic and other assets like draft picks to get Love in Chicago after all.

Mirotic is one of the most exciting young players in the NBA and he hasn’t even played a minute of professional basketball in America, which goes to show you just how special he already is.

Cleveland can throw in Andrew Wiggins, Dion Waiters, first round picks and more to land Love but they’re getting outbid by a team who don’t even need Love that bad and would be acquiring almost as a hobby.

Of course, the Bulls would love to get Love as offering up a prize like Mirotic is no small fee, but it might be what the Cavs need to get it together and make a trade for Love happen.
