The Cleveland Cavaliers may have landed LeBron James in the offseason but their work is far from over when it comes to making sure the roster is as tight as it can be in order to win not one or two titles but multiple titles over multiple years.
Part of making a roster that strong is going out and making big deals when you need to in order to land the pieces you need. Right now that piece is Kevin Love and the Cavaliers are making a push to get him, even if it doesn’t outwardly seem so.
According to Darren Wolfson from ESPN1500AM in Minneapolis, the Wolves and Cavs are in direct contact on a daily basis but nothing new has developed.

The fact that the two sides are in contact on a daily basis is wildly encouraging but it shows just how slow the process is moving. Love may very well end up with the Cavaliers but it’s not going to be something either sides rushes to without taking some serious thought about just how massive the deal is.
