The Cleveland Cavaliers landed LeBron James this weekend and now that he’s officially under contract, the attention will now shift to making sure the right players are on the team surrounding him.
One player in particular is guard Ray Allen, who had success with LeBron in Miami but may want to go out on top and retire an NBA Champion.
According to Sam Amico from Fox Sports Ohio, the Cleveland Cavaliers are still a possibility for Ray Allen but he’s still uncertain that he wants to play in 2014-15
LeBron James continuing recruiting efforts of Ray Allen, but Allen still undecided on if he’ll play again. If so, you can bet it’ll be Cavs.

If Allen retires, it’s more than just a loss for LeBron and the Cavs, it’s a loss for the NBA as a whole. Allen is one of the last remaining players from the 90s era of basketball and his legacy as one of the best all-time shooters speaks for itself.
Should he choose to hang it up, Allen would be proving that some guys really do know how to walk away from the game as there isn’t a more attractive place to be desired at the moment than Cleveland but Allen seems ready to turn his back on it to have a life after basketball.
