OVERNIGHT UPDATE — THINGS ARE HAPPENING
Last night was a busy night in the NBA.
The Memphis Grizzlies have prepared for the departure of one veteran wing player by adding another. With Mike Miller angling to rejoin LeBron James in Cleveland, Vince Carter has agreed a three-year, $12 million deal.
Pau Gasol is close to finalizing a deal with the Chicago Bulls, per several reports. Gasol has apparently already turned down a two-year, $20 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers
The Phoenix Suns made the steal of the offseason so far, signing Kings point guard Isaiah Thomas to a four-year, $27 million sign-and-trade. Thomas averaged more than 20 points per game and finished the season with a PER of 20.5, making this one of the best-priced contracts in the league.
Oh, and some guy called LeBron James might have made a decision.
