UPDATE — 7:56pm ET

ESPN’s Chris Broussard has the most deflating update of the day for everyone waiting with baited breath for any scraps of LeBron news.

UPDATE — 7:44pm ET

According to Yahoo!’s Adrian Wojnarowski, LeBron James has finished his meeting with Heat President Pat Riley. The meeting concluded with no deal being agreed.

UPDATE – – 5:04pm ET

Adrian Wojnarowski is back with more on the Kevin Love/Cleveland Cavaliers trade rumors.

Earlier today, Sam Amick posted an update stating Andrew Wiggins, the Cavaliers No. 1 pick in the 2014 draft, and his camp did not believe he would be used as a makeweight in any potential trade for Kevin Love.

UPDATE — 4:19pm ET

Take this with a pinch of salt, as presumably Isola in New York is better connected than Mark Medina, who is based several thousand miles away.

BREAKING UPDATE — 3:55pm ET CARMELO ANTHONY SET TO RETURN TO NEW YORK KNICKS

New York Daily News reporter Frank Isola reports Carmelo Anthony will announce his decision to resign with the Knicks tomorrow.

UPDATE — 3:32pm ET Apparently, this is a real thing. All Pat Riley needs to do is show LeBron this image and he’ll resign in Miami in a heartbeat.

UPDATE — 3:03pm ET

With the Rockets already in play for Heat forward Chris Bosh, Houston has apparently made efforts to lure former Bull Luol Deng. The two-time All-Star forward will be in high demand considering his elite defense and consistent scoring.

UPDATE — 2:41pm ET

The South Florida SunSentinel’s Miami Heat beat reporter Ira Winderman has some concrete information about LeBron James’ – and Dwyane Wade’s – looming free agency decisions. Both will meet with Heat President Pat Riley in Las Vegas today.

UPDATE — 2:25pm ET

Sam Amick is back again, this time with a tidbit on the Cavaliers possible pursuit of Minnesota Timberwolves free agent Kevin Love.

UPDATE — 12:55pm ET

Predictably, some on social media have sensed the opportunity to co-opt LeBron James’ impending decision (Decision?) for some opportunistic marketing.

Bacon AND cheese? That’s equivalent to clearing the entire roster.

UPDATE — 12:26pm, ET

USA Today’s Sam Amick has info on another free agent forward – Houston’s Chandler Parsons. Several teams are said to be high on Parsons with the Dallas Mavericks leading the charge.

UPDATE — 12:25pm ET

According to Yahoo! Sports NBA reporter and all-round basketball savant Adrian Wojnarowski, LeBron James has been in touch with other veteran players about joining him should he decide his time on South Beach is over.
