Cleveland Cavaliers announce 2014 Summer League roster

On Tuesday the Cleveland Cavaliers announced the team’s roster for the 2014 Summer League in Las Vegas, which takes place from July 11-21. The roster will include three first-round picks over the past two drafts, including 2013 and 2014 No. 1 selections Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins. This is what the full roster will look like when the Cavs kick off LVSL (Las Vegas Summer League) play this Friday against Jabari Parker and the Milwaukee Bucks:

Anthony Bennet — Forward

Will Cherry — Guard

Jack Cooley — Forward/Center

Matthew Dellavedova — Guard

Shane Edwards — Forward

Carrick Felix — Guard/Forward

Steven Gray — Guard

Joe Harris — Guard

Scotty Hopson — Guard

Sergey Karasev — Guard/Forward

Alex Kirk — Center

Andrew Wiggins — Guard/Forward

Not only will we get to see the new additions from the Cavs’ draft this offseason, but new head coach David Blatt will also be heading the team during Summer League play. Associate head coach Tyronn Lue will also be joining the Cavs’ staff during the two-week stretch. The full coaching staff is as follows:

Jim Boylan — Assistant Coach

Bret Brielmaier — Assistant Coach

James Posey — Assistant Coach

Phil Handy — Assistant Coach

In case you need a refresher, the Cavaliers will be playing in three preliminary games in order to work out seeding for the Summer League championship bracket. The games will take place at the COX Pavilion on the campus of UNLV and will be aired on NBA TV. After the preliminary games, the first round of the Summer League tournament will take place on July 16, the second round on July 17, the consolation round on July 18, the quarterfinals on July 19, the semifinals on July 20 and the finals on July 21. The preliminary games are as follows:

Friday, July 11 @ 8 p.m. (EST) — vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Sunday, July 13 @ 4 p.m. (EST) — vs. San Antonio Spurs

Monday, July 14 @ 8 p.m. (EST) — vs. Philadelphia 76ers
