Cleveland Cavaliers open as 20-1 favorites to win NBA title

Although the Cleveland Cavaliers finished 10th in the Eastern Conference this past season, the team has opened up with 20-1 odds to win the 2014-15 NBA title. This is by far the highest odds that the Cavs have had at winning a championship since LeBron left town. Cleveland sits behind the likes of the Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder, recent champs San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers and Houston Rockets. Reasons for the Cavs jumping to eighth on the odds list include the possibility of LeBron James returning to the Cavs and the team having the No. 1 pick in this year’s upcoming draft.
