Things are starting to heat up in the daily Cleveland, Ohio news blurbs. Each day Cleveland Cavaliers fans are finding out something new about a prospective coach or a likely top-three pick (one of Joel Embiid, Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker). Well, it’s not surprise that the following will be rolled out next week, but sources close to The Plain Dealer have made it known Friday that the Cavs will work out Wiggins next Wednesday and Parker on the following Friday.
Although the head coaching vacancy continues to be unfulfilled at this point in time, many in the past have stated that the Cavs will land a new head coach before they work out Wiggins. Well, the freshman Kansas forward is coming to town on Wednesday, and there still remains not a hint at a frontrunner through Cleveland’s offseason searches.
Duke product Parker, who many believe to be the dark horse to get drafted No. 1 overall by the Cavs, will be following Wiggins a couple of days behind in terms of working out for Cleveland. This might also be the case on draft night, as many have Parker slotted going No. 3 to the Philadelphia 76ers. After working out Joel Embiid this past week, all three candidates for the No. 1 spot will have workouts with the Cavs finished before the end of next week.
