1943 – Happy 70th birthday to retired NBA shooting guard Jon McGlocklin who spent 11 seasons in the league and has been a Milwaukee Bucks television analyst for more than three decades. He was an important part of Milwaukee’s 1971 championship team, averaging 15 points per game on 54-percent shooting during that postseason. Then, after McGlocklin retired, the Bucks retired his No. 14 jersey.

The Bucks made the 2013 playoffs, but they finished with the NBA’s worst record this past regular season. They have the second overall pick in the NBA draft and look to get a franchise cornerstone with the stocked draft class. The Bucks could make the playoffs in 2015, but they most likely will not be a championship contender for at least a few years.
