2012 – In a 101-88 Miami Heat victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Heat advanced to the NBA Finals. LeBron James’ 31 points and 12 rebounds, both of which were game-highs, led Miami to victory. The Heat would eventually win the franchise’s second championship.

Miami has made it four consecutive NBA Finals appearances in 2014, and the team looks to be the first three-peat squad since the early 2000’s. However, if the San Antonio Spurs oust the Heat, then LeBron James could find a new home for the 2014-15 season.
