Whenever Cleveland Cavaliers news hits the Internet that involves LeBron James, it’s to be taken with a grain of salt. But, on Friday, Cavs power forward/center Anderson Varejao spoke with the Plain Dealer on the possibility of LBJ coming back to CLE. The report initially came from a question that journalism graduate Marcelo Urbano asked Varejao on the pre-game ESPN Brazil show for the NBA Finals. Urbano tweeted out the quote almost as soon as the words came out of Varejao’s mouth:
Andy just declared on ESPN Brazil that he ask LeBron about a possible comeback, LeBron told him that they will talk later about that

Varejao is the last player active on the current Cavs roster that played with LeBron during his tenure with the team. Varejao isn’t one to draw the media’s attention with information not backed by facts, but with this news coming straight from the lips of Andy, it does carry some weight. I never jump on any news that has LeBron’s name in the headline, but the Plain Dealer report backing that Varejao isn’t hiding anything by revealing that he talked with LeBron carries more weight than anyone’s thoughts on the two-time champion testing free agency this offsesaon.
