Mike Brown says the Cavs are going after LeBron

Former Cleveland Cavaliers Mike Brown may be taking a year off from coaching, but he is doing some media. Speaking with ESPN personality Dan LeBatard on 104.3 The Ticket out of Miami, Brown was asked if the Cavs were planning on chasing LeBron again this summer. And he had this to say, which shouldn’t be a shocker to anyone:

“I think they will definitely try to make a run at him,” Brown said. “With him being from this area it makes more sense for Cleveland to go after him than any other team besides the Miami Heat.”

When Brown was asked whether he thinks James would consider a return to the city where his NBA career got started, Brown responded by saying, “I don’t know.” He then spoke about the lure of returning home.

It has been speculated for a while now that the Cavs would  go after LeBron this summer if he opts out of his contract. So let’s see if that happens.

Lebron will opt it in keeping the rumors going for another year… Then he will sign long term with the Heat

  • Gary

Why would he want to return to the Cavs? He likes winning.

Here’s something to ponder Gary and the Sportologist…..

Micheal Jordan wins 3 NBA Titles then plays for the Chicago Whitesox. (
have the baseball card to prove it.) Then comes back to NBA and wins 3
more Titles. Lebron Stays in Miami till 2015 wins 4 Titles in a row (beats Micheal Jordan).
Then Manzeil has a year with the Browns in 2014, and James plays Football in 2015
for the Browns with Gordon, Cameron, and the wicked great team being
    assembled (2 number1 picks 2015), helps win a Championship for C-Town
like he said, and then goes back to NBA to win 3-4 more Titles in a row. He will be “KING JAMES” The GREATEST of ALL TIME. Jordan+Whitesox = James+Browns

Jimmy Haslam would like that. He also doesn’t play for Dan Gilbert. (for all you Dan Gilbert theorists). Maybe he stays in C-Town and plays for the Cavs now that their Brand new #1 pick and the supporting cast is seasoned for the 2016 season. (Maybe all you Dan Gilbert Theorists are wrong). Perfect scenario. Win Championships in 2 different sports in C-TOWN? Promise fulfilled. I AM LEGEND.
