2005 – With a 98-96 San Antonio Spurs victory over the Seattle SuperSonics in Game 6 of the second round, the Spurs won the series. Tim Duncan had a game-high 26 points that night. The 2005 Spurs then went on to win the franchise’s third championship in seven years.

The Spurs won their 2014 second-round series on Wednesday, May 14. San Antonio takes on the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 on Monday. In both the Eastern and Western Conferences in the NBA, the top two seeds are facing off in the 2014 conference finals.
