2012 – With a 106-94 Miami Heat victory over the New York Knicks in Game 5, Miami won its first-round series. LeBron James scored a game-high 29 points en route to the victory. Later in that postseason, this 2012 Miami team would get the franchise’s second NBA title in seven years.

In search of a three-peat in 2014, James’ squad was the only NBA team to sweep a first-round series this postseason. The Heat defeated the Charlotte Bobcats and will take on the Indiana Pacers or Washington Wizards if Miami can take down the Brooklyn Nets.
