2008 – With a 99-65 Boston Celtics victory over the Atlanta Hawks in Game 7, the eventual 2008 champion Celtics defeated the Hawks in the first-round series. Paul Pierce scored a game-high 22 points. Kevin Garnett added 18 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.

Pierce and Garnett will look to win another first-round Game 7 on May 4. On Sunday, May 4, 2008, they led the Celtics to the next round. On Sunday, May 4, 2014, Pierce and Garnett look for the same result. However, this time, they are six years older and are playing on the road against the third-seeded Toronto Raptors.
