1987 – Happy 27th birthday to Cleveland Cavaliers guard/forward C.J. Miles (@masfresco) who just finished his ninth season in the league. He was originally drafted 34th overall by the Utah Jazz in 2005 and spent his first seven years in Salt Lake City before signing with the Cavaliers in the 2012 offseason. Miles’ 126 made 3-pointers combined in 2012-13 and 2013-14 were the most for any Cavalier in that span.

Miles’ best night with Cleveland came on January 7, 2014, when the Cavaliers hosted the Philadelphia 76ers. He attempted 18 shots that evening, 14 of which were from downtown. He made 10 shots from 3-point distance and scored a game-high 34 points in the Cavaliers’ 111-93 victory.
