Cleveland Cavaliers injury news: Spencer Hawes probable vs. Warriors

The Cleveland Cavaliers may be without their starting center tonight when the Cavaliers take on the Golden State Warriors in Oakland. According to Mary Schmidt Boyer of The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Hawes is listed as probable for tonight’s game with a sprained left ankle. That means there is a 75 percent chance Hawes plays tonight. Boyer also noted that shooting guard C.J. Miles (who has been out with a sprained left ankle) has been listed as doubtful for tonight’s game. That is an improvement, as Miles has been listed as “out” for every game since his injury.

On the flip side, Warriors guard Klay Thompson will not play tonight, as he is attending the funeral of his grandfather in the Bahamas. It is not clear who will start in place of Thompson.
