Cleveland Cavaliers guard C.J. Miles will be out again on Wednesday night when the Cavaliers take on the Phoenix Suns as a part of a three-game West Coast swing. Cavaliers coach Mike Brown announced that Miles would be out earlier today.

While you never want to see a player injured, Miles’ injury frees up minutes for Dion Waiters. With the Cavaliers slowly – but surely – falling out of the playoff picture, it’s necessary for the Cavaliers to get time for the young guys. Miles, if healthy, would likely command 12-15 minutes a game that could go to Waiters and Matthew Dellavedova.
Still, expect Miles to return sometime this week. He told media last week that he expected to return for this trip.
