1996 – In a 109-89 Utah Jazz victory over the Houston Rockets on Friday, March 8, 1996, Jerry Sloan won his 500th career regular-season game. John Stockton led the way with 25 points on 11-of-12 shooting as well as a game-high 15 assists.
