The Denver Nuggets had a couple of offers to choose from when they decided to move Jordan Hamilton for a point guard, and have chosen to send him to the Houston Rockets in return for Aaron Brooks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Denver has traded Jordan Hamilton to Houston for Aaron Brooks, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

This seems like a decent trade for both sides. The Rockets were in a bit of a need for another athletic wing, while the Nuggets were absolutely desperate to get a healthy point guard on the roster. Initially, the Nuggets were rumored to be moving Hamilton to the Knicks in return for Beno Udrih, so getting Brooks is at least a slight improvement.
Brooks probably won’t make that big of an impact, but with Andre Miller traded and both Nate Robinson and Ty Lawson injured, the Nuggets needed to add another ball-handler to the roster. Brooks has moved around quite a bit in the last couple of years, but he is definitely capable of heating up offensively and will provide Denver with much-needed backcourt depth to see out the season
