The Los Angels Clippers have looked like a relatively formidable side since Doc Rivers took control of the team, but like many title contenders, the team is looking for a little boost to the bench for the final regular season stretch before the playoffs. With the trade deadline only days away, Rivers seems inclined to add another big man to his bench unit.

Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan have both been terrific this year, but the guys behind the two starting big men are anything but studs. Byron Mullens, Ryan Hollins and Antawn Jamison are not really the type of backups you are looking for on a serious contending roster, so it’s understandable that Rivers wants some more depth up front.
For quite a while, it was rumored that the Clippers were interested in signing Lamar Odom, who has had plenty of issues to deal with off the court. However, Odom is now reported to have signed for a team in Europe, and the Clippers will have to look elsewhere in the upcoming few days.
