NBA Trade Rumors — The NBA trade deadline is sneaking up upon us, and we can expect some fireworks going off in the next couple of days. The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the worst teams in the league this season, even though they apparently wanted to make the playoffs this year. As a result, Ersan Ilyasova seems to be fed up and wants out.
According to multiple sources, Ilyasova has expressed a desire to be traded, apparently having had his fill of the Bucks’ continual rebuilding project.
Ilyasova made it clear, though, the Bucks’ revolving door policy with players has irritated him.
“The thing I’m upset about is each year, each season, we go through the same thing,” Ilyasova said. “Last year, we make the playoffs and now we start all over again. That’s really frustrating.
While Ilyasova remains one of the better trading chips for the Bucks, his market value is hardly at an all-time high. After signing a sizable extension, Ilyasova has not quite performed as well as the team expected. Even though he is considered a stretch-4, his perimeter game has been off, as he is shooting 37.5% from the field and just 29.3% from beyond the arc.
There are likely teams around the league who would still like to take a gamble on Ilyasova, but the Bucks are not really in a position to get something of great value for him.
