NBA Trade Rumors — We are less than two weeks away from the trade deadline, and the rumors will be thrown around in abundance until then. While Rajon Rondo’s name has been speculated about quite a lot, it seems that the Boston Celtics are instead shopping Jeff Green, and that the Atlanta Hawks could be interested.

The Celtics are in full-on tank mode, so it’s only right to assume that most of the players at Danny Ainge’s disposal are available for the right price. Green is on a relatively cap-friendly contract considering his production. Even though his efficiency has dropped a little with an increased role offensively, he is still a pretty versatile small forward with a decent skill set.
If the Celtics do move Green, it would likely be in order to get even worse this year, and so the team would probably look for some future assets in form of draft picks in return.
Atlanta’s interest in Green is also understandable. DeMarre Carroll is having the best season of his career, but he doesn’t possess quite as many offensive weapons as Green, who would be a clear upgrade at the 3-spot.
