NBA Trade Rumors – The Indiana Pacers recently acquired Andrew Bynum, but despite being one of the top title contenders and owners of the best defense in the league, the team could be looking to make moves before the Feb. 20 trade deadline. According to Jared Zwerling, the Pacers are specifically looking to add another scoring threat.
Also hearing, which is scary, the Pacers want to make another move to bolster their bench by acquiring a scorer.

Last season the Pacers’ bench ranked 29th in scoring, but the team made moves to add some depth this summer. Most notably, Indiana added Luis Scola and Danny Granger returned from injury, but the starters still carry a major load, and the bench has moved up just two spots since last year, ranking 27th in points per game.
Granger has not looked like himself, and it’s a very valid question whether he ever will. Even though the Pacers have an absolutely smothering defense, having a consistent scorer off the bench could add a lot to this team.
Other than an expiring contract of Granger, the Pacers don’t necessarily have a lot of attractive assets, but a lot of players will become available closer to the trade deadline, and anything can happen.
