NBA Trade Rumors — The Los Angeles Clippers acquired Jared Dudley and JJ Redick last summer, two players who were supposed to fill in as starters and round out a more balanced starting lineup. Redick has fit right in, being the perfect fit off the ball next to Chris Paul. Dudley, on the other hand, has not quite met expectations and could be moved before the trade deadline.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Clippers are “itchy” to make some moves before the 2014 playoffs, and Dudley could be the odd man out.
Trade rumble: Clippers "itchy" to make a deal and Jared Dudley, with PT harder to come by and logjam at wing spots, is unexpectedly in play

The Clippers recently acquired Hedo Turkoglu, and Matt Barnes has taken over both Dudley’s starting spot and most of his minutes. With playing time dwindling down, Dudley could be used as trade bait before the deadline, but his market value is obviously not an an all-time high right now. It’s probably unlikely that the Clippers will look to make any kind of major deal and package Dudley into it, but swapping him for a different rotation player is certainly a possibility.
