Nate Robinson recently went down with a knee injury, and was initially diagnosed with an ACL sprain, an injury which would sideline him indefinitely. However, it seems that it could be worse than that, and Nate-Rob could actually have torn his ACL, which would rule him out for the rest of this season.
Word out of Denver is that Nate Robinson has a torn ACL…going for a second opinion. Tough break for a guy who loves to play.

There are few players in the league that are more fun to watch than Robinson when he truly heats up, and he has been able to explode and carry the offense for the Denver Nuggets in several games this year. Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari is also out for the year with an ACL tear, so the injuries keep piling up for the team.
Robinson’s injury leaves Denver very short in the backcourt. Andre Miller has likely played his last game with the team, and should be moved before the trade deadline, while Ty Lawson is battling through some nagging injuries. Evan Fournier will likely have the opportunity to play a whole lot more minutes, but the playoff contention is looking bleak for the Nuggets at this point.
