On This Date in NBA History: January 30, Kevin McHale’s No. 32 Retired

1994 – The Boston Celtics retired Hall of Fame power forward Kevin McHale’s No. 32 at halftime of their 106-94 victory over the Phoenix Suns. McHale, who is currently the head coach of the Houston Rockets, was a three-time NBA champion, two-time Sixth Man of the Year and seven-time all-star as a player.
