1998 – For an NBA-record ninth time in his career, Michael Jordan led all players in All-Star game votes. In addition, Kobe Bryant became the youngest starter in NBA All-Star game history. Jordan was the eventual MVP of the game on February 8 in a 135-114 Eastern Conference win.
