NBA Trade Rumors – The Milwaukee Bucks signed Gary Neal just last summer, but the team is already looking to cut the ties with one of the team’s newest additions, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
The Milwaukee Bucks are actively looking to move guard Gary Neal, according to sources familiar with Milwaukee’s thinking.
Sources told ESPN.com that the Bucks will do everything they can to find a new home for Neal before the Feb. 20 trade deadline, conceding that last summer’s signing of the former San Antonio sharpshooter hasn’t worked out as planned.
Apparently, Neal had a heated argument with Larry Sanders and so Milwaukee now wants to move him.
Last summer the Bucks picked up Neal, who was coming off some pretty good performances in the NBA playoffs and finals, signing him to a two-year $6.5 million contract. Although his salary is a little high for his production, he is still a decent shooter and should be tradable.
He is averaging 10.4 points, 1.6 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game, while shooting 41.9% from 3-point range this season.
