Irving, Jack out against Indiana

The Cavaliers were already going to be without star point guard Kyrie Irving for the third straight game due to a knee contusion, but minutes before the the game, Jarrett Jack was ruled out as well due to back spasms. It is not yet clear who will start for the Wine & Gold when the take on the Indiana Pacers. The team announced the move via a press release.

Above all, this puts a lot of pressure on Dion Waiters to handle the ball and create offense for the Cavaliers tonight. The Wine & Gold have no one else on the roster capable of creating their own shot, meaning Waiters may log heavy minutes and bring up the ball at times. This likely also means increased floor time for Matthew Dellavedova and C.J. Miles. Rookie Sergey Karasev may also be a benefactor of Irving and Jack missing the game.
