According to several NBA reporters, the Cleveland Cavaliers have suspended Andrew Bynum from team activities. The suspension is indefinite and the reasoning is conduct detrimental to team. As if that doesn’t sound bad enough, Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted the following.
About Bynum suspension, league source tells Yahoo: "He doesn't want to play basketball anymore. He never liked it that much in first place."

This means Bynum is not traveling with the team and it seems that he doesn’t like basketball altogether. This comes only weeks after Bynum said that he was considering retirement, as he never expected his knees to be pain free.
Bynum is known for his erratic behaviour so this is perhaps not that surprising. Judging by the reports, this could be the end of the road for the player that was considered one of the best centers in the NBA just a couple of seasons ago.
The Cavaliers invested quite a lot of money in Bynum, but there are several clauses in his contract which would allow the Cavs to terminate their partnership, so financially this isn’t that big of a hit for the franchise. It would seem that they simply took a chance hoping for the best and it hasn’t worked out.
