1984 – In a 120-114 loss to the New Jersey Nets at Madison Square Garden, Bernard King scored 60 points, the most by a New York Knicks player in franchise history. He shot 19-of-30 from the field and 22-of-26 from the free-throw line. King’s record still stands today and is the most points ever scored by a player on Christmas Day.
