1997 – The Houston Rockets defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 108-106, in the first NBA regular season game to be played in Mexico. Michael Finley (@Da_Finster) scored a game-high 35 points in the loss. Charles Barkley had 19 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists, which were all team-highs. Unfortunately, due to smoke, the NBA had to postpone a game in Mexico between the San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves a couple days ago.
