On This Date in NBA History: December 1, Isiah Thomas Became Pistons’ All-Time Scorer

1991 – After scoring a game-high 22 points in a 94-87 Detroit Pistons victory over the Houston Rockets at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Isiah Thomas became the Pistons’ all-time leading scorer. Thomas finished his 979-game career with 18,822 points for Detroit and remains the franchise leader.
