NBA Trade Rumors – Sacramento Kings are fresh of trading for Derrick Williams, but the team’s GM Pete D’Alessandro reassured that he will continue to look for ways to improve the roster. It seems that the players wouldn’t be caught by surprise if a trade was to go down and are actually expecting the franchise to make moves up until the February trade deadline.

The fact that the Kings are already active in the trade market really shouldn’t surprise anyone. The roster, as currently constructed, has a bunch of flaws and is nowhere near a serious playoff contender. However, the team is absolutely loaded on easily movable trade assets and it’s only natural that D’Alessandro is making calls.

If we take a quick look around the roster, there are a lot of names that could potentially be moved — Marcus Thornton, Isaiah Thomas, Jimmer Fredette just to name a few. Thornton has struggled mightily this season and a change of scenery wouldn’t hurt.
