1990 – At 600 First Avenue in North Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Target Center (@TargetCenterMN) hosted its first Minnesota Timberwolves game. It was the team’s opening game of the 1990-91 NBA season. The Timberwolves defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 98-85. The game featured current Utah Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin and former Toronto Raptors coach Sam Mitchell, who both played for the Timberwolves.
