On This Date in NBA History: October 24, Wilt Chamberlain Made His NBA Debut



1959 – Philadelphia 76ers center Wilt Chamberlain made his NBA debut in a 118-109 victory over the New York Knicks. He scored a game-high 43 points and went on to be the Rookie of the Year. He finished his career as a two-time champion, four-time MVP and 13-time All-Star.
