1934 – Happy 79th birthday to Los Angles Lakers Hall of Fame small forward Elgin Baylor. After being named the 1958 NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player for Seattle University, he was the 1959 NBA Rookie of the Year. Baylor was a ten-time All-Star and ended up averaging the fourth-most points per game all-time (27.4).
