1986 – Happy 27th birthday to Boston Celtics forward Jeff Green (@unclejeffgreen) who is entering the second year of his four-year, $36-million contract. After missing the entire 2011-12 NBA season due to an aortic aneurysm, Green had a nice bounce back year in Boston. He scored a career-high 43 points on March 18 against the Heat. In addition, during the 2012-13 season, Green put up 27 points in back-to-back games for just the second time as a professional. Now at full strength, the Celtics’ projected leading scorer looks to make large strides in the upcoming year.
