On Tuesday the Cleveland Cavaliers announced their Summer League roster and schedule, as teams already started play on Sunday. Those clubs include the Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets. We’ve been hearing about how well No. 2 pick Victor Oladipo has been doing, but because of his shoulder surgery, we won’t be seeing our No. 1 pick in Anthony Bennett in Vegas this summer.
However, here are the players who earned invites on the Wine and Gold summer squad, including players already guaranteed roster spots. Only one of our three picks will be playing, however, as Sergery Karasev is finishing play in Russia before he comes over for training camp. Anyways, here are the players who will be suiting up for the Cavs this summer via the Cleveland Cavaliers official website:
Matthew Dellavedova – G
Carrick Felix - G/F
Justin Harper - F
Josh Heytvelt - F/C
Cory Higgins - G
Kevin Jones - F
Kenny Kadji -G/F
Chris Quinn - G
Jermaine Taylor - G
