So Dwight Howard decided to disregard the backlash of what leaving one of the most storied franchises, not only in the NBA but in all of sports, would result in, and opted to sign with the Houston Rockets. While parts of Lakers Nation is sulking, Kobe Bryant, for one, is not.

A lot was made out of the alleged comments Bryant made in his meeting with Howard. While Dwight himself disputed them in an interview with HOOPSWORLD, saying that Kobe’s comments were taken out of context, it’s quite clear that Bryant will not waste a moment of his time grieving over his teammate’s departure.

Bryant made this very clear by uploading a simple, yet extremely meaningful photo on his Instagram account:

You can view the photo by clicking here.

The picture featured Pau Gasol (still rocking his long and curvy hair look) and Bryant together, with the following tags #vamos #juntos #lakercorazon #vino.

My knowledge of the Spanish language is limited, but Bryant is basically hinting that Pau and Kobe have always stuck together and their brotherly love is the only thing that matters to him.

Yea, the Lakers will probably suck next season, but Kobe definitely won’t lose any sleep over Dwight leaving his team. If anything, this will further motivate him.

I’m a diehard Lakers fan, and Dwight Howard is as fake as they come, but I understand him leaving. The Lakers are old and Kobe can say what he wants its over for him. No need to get mad he won’t win anyway. The Lakers need to let someone else run the show too cause the Buss son is messing up
