The free agency circus moves on. The Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks have agreed upon a blockbuster trade that will send Jared Dudley and JJ Redick to LA.
The Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks have reached agreement on a three-team trade that will send J.J. Redick and Jared Dudley to L.A., league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
The Suns will receive Clippers point guard Eric Bledsoe and forward Caron Butler while the Bucks – who facilitated the deal with a sign-and-trade of Redick – get two second-round draft picks, sources said.
This looks like an overall fair deal for pretty much all parties. The Bucks get two draft picks in return for helping with the deal. The Phoenix Suns will now have two young players to build around — Eric Bledsoe and Alex Len. The Clippers address the team’s issues at the two-guard spot by adding two good wing scorers in JJ Redick and Jared Dudley.
Now the Clippers will be extremely interesting to watch next season. The team has gotten rid of Caron Butler and added not only a great coach in Doc Rivers but also some additional firepower.
