Just when we all thought the New Orleans Pelicans would be holding a shot-blocking party with Anthony Davis and Nerlens Noel, Noel is now rumored to be traded to the Philadelphia 76ers for Jrue Holiday.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the trade will send Noel and the Pelicans’ 2014 first-round pick for Holiday.

This draft is already filled with a lot of surprises and is extremely fun. Now the Sixers have decided to get over the Andrew Bynum hangover by trading their All-Star point guard for another center with an injury history. That 2014 first-rounder looks good though.

Personally, I would really have loved to have seen Davis and Noel team up, but landing an All-Star point guard is not too shabby either. Giving up the first-round pick in 2014 is huge though, as that draft projected to be very stacked with supreme talent.

What do you think about the trade?
