Recent rumors have suggested that the Washington Wizards and the Chicago Bulls discussed the possibility of a trade that would send Luol Deng to the Wizards for a package involving the No. 3 overall pick. Since then, that rumor has been shot down by David Aldridge of TNT, among others.

However, it doesn’t end there. It seems that the Cleveland Cavaliers are also interested in Deng’s services, but there are not legitimate rumors pointing that the two teams have actually discussed a deal.

It’s pretty clear that while the Bulls might not be actively looking to get rid of their All-Star forward, they are certainly gauging interest around the league.

Deng is entering the last year of his $14.3 million contract, which makes it a lot easier to move. Jimmy Butler had a breakout season and so Chicago could definitely consider trying to find a new home for Deng in order to add another piece to their team and at the same time save money.
