Magic Johnson Thinks LeBron James Can Be Best Ever

LeBron James captured his second championship on Thursday, as the Miami Heat beat the San Antonio Spurs in game 7 of a very thrilling NBA Finals. As always, the legacy implications are brought up in LeBron’s case, and Magic Johnson thinks that James can rise above everyone else and be regarded as the greatest player of all time when it’s all set and done.

Personally, I feel that all this legacy talk and comparisons have been and will remain to be pointless. James is still in his prime and we don’t know if we have seen the best of him yet. Instead of comparing him to the likes of Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan, it’s a whole lot more fun to just witness the greatest player in the world dominate like this.

Still, it’s a discussion that everyone loves to have, and Magic seems convinced that LeBron at least has what it takes to reach a legendary status. What do you think? Can James’ legacy every be greater than what MJ and other Hall of Famers have left behind? Let us know in the comment section down below.
