2008 – With a 131-92 Boston Celtics victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, the Celtics won their 17th championship in franchise history. Finals MVP Paul Pierce registered a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists. Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen both chipped in 26 points each.
