2001 – In Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 111-82. Derek Fisher scored a game-high 28 points in the victory. This was the second of seven meetings between the Lakers and Spurs during Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan’s careers. In the first six, the winner went on to make the NBA Finals. On Monday, the Spurs hope to make it seven.
