After several close games in the Western Conference Finals, we find ourselves here — with the Spurs on the verge of a sweep. Yes, the Grizzlies could very well be up 2-1 in this series, but the Spurs have been the better team and deserve the overwhelming lead in this series.

At this point, no one believes the Grizzlies can come back, no matter how resilient they are, and I am not sure they do either. No team has come back from a 3-0 deficit and while Memphis is a great defensive team, their offense is simply not good enough for them to make the NBA finals.

Players to watch

Memphis Grizzlies – Quincy Pondexter had a decent game off the bench and gave Memphis a nice lift. If they want cut into this deficit, the Grizzlies need bench production.

San Antonio Spurs – Tim Duncan is just fantastic. Just watch and study him if you want to learn how to play basketball.

Prediction: Well, I have been mostly wrong with these predictions, so I will try to stay true to my record and say Grizzlies force game 5.
