There was some concern as to whether Mario Chalmers would be able to play in game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. That is no longer the case, as Chalmers will be playing.
Rio suffered a bruised shoulder in game 1, which forced him to take a seat and watch his teammates finish the game without him. On Friday he participated in the team’s shootaround and was regarded as probable for the game. Ira Winderman has now confirmed that Chalmers will indeed play.
Erik Spoelstra on Mario Chalmers, "He's ready to go."

Chalmers has not quite been himself in the 2013 NBA Playoffs so far, only just barely shooting over 30% from beyond the 3-point line after connecting on over 40% of his regular season attempts. Still having Rio in the lineup will be crucial for the Heat, who can ill afford an injury to any player, especially a starter, against this gritty Indiana Pacers team.
In game 1, Chalmers actually did have a really good start and was effective in his 21 minutes of play. He scored 10 points, connected on both of his attempts from deep and shot 4-7.
